Patricia
is an art therapist and art teacher, specializing in the creative core.
She believes in accessing this core through the use of imagery, the most
fundamental language of the psyche.
Patricia has been involved in art and imagery for many years, earning an
MFA in Design and Drawing from the University of Iowa, Iowa City. After
years of teaching design and color at several universities, and
including a period as an instructor with Minneapolis College of Art and
Design’s continuing education program in the 1990’s, Patricia completed
a Masters Degree in Human Development from Saint Mary’s University in
1996. Her program of studies focused upon imagery as a symbol, which
encompassed studying art therapy, Jungian psychology and dream
interpretation.
Patricia currently teaches intuitive, symbolic imagery and creativity
courses at Edina Art Center.
